a break from school!!!

hmmm actuali nt considered as a break la... cos i did go back to sch 2day... lol... woke up super early today to do mle tutorial... since i will be out e whole day today... den i went to school for blast prac for e anniversary item... den went to bathe at aprine's "house"... hee thanks gal!!! =) den rushed to somerset to meet als... haha... i was like travelling arnd from e east, to west, to central, and now im back to e east... tml i shall stay overnite at my aunt's place... hehe... im a nomad man...

anyway, today als and i went to e korean restaurant at heeren... as e movie "Lust, Caution" was only showing at 1845, we decided to have an early dinner... so e restaurant was quite empty la... except for a Korean couple... so when e theme song for winter sonata went on, e guy was singing to it la... so we actuali sort of got a free authentic live show... haha... we ordered seafood pancake, 1 hot stone bowl rice and 1 pot of ginseng chicken soup, and they gave us e usual side dishes (kimchi, which tastes exactly like wad my mum's kimchi tastes like... MY MUM'S COOKING ROCKS!!! ikan billis and preserved cucumber) hee... overall, e food there is quite nice and of e right amt... got a 15% disc from uob also... so quite worth it la... anyway not i pay wad... HAHA... we also ordered e hot citron tea which tastes super refreshing!!! haha... and dat is a muz try...

aft dat, we walked to cineleisure for our movie... and it onli ended at 2130!!! super long... haha this is like my 2nd chinese movie i ever watched in a cinema... (and e 1st was e opium war which i watched wif my dad and my er jie la) i think e lead actress tang wei has superb acting skills... pls la... she managed to speak mandarin, shanghainese, cantonese and english la... lest to say her singing skills... e stern face seen in tony leung was super mesmerising la... though he's acting as a villian in e movie... wang lee hom is forever so shuai la... at 1st i giggled a little at his american accent mandarin... but i think his acting skills r nt bad too... reali portrayed a patriotism... at e end of e movie, i felt quite sad for e lead actress cos she didnt deserve to go thru all these... which e character whom wang lee hom was playing, could actuali put a stop to it... it all boils down to him nt confessing his love for e gal... sad show... but i have to say... tony leung is a versatile actor who can act in both comedy as well as serious shows like this... hardly u will see him acting as a villian la... although i still prefer him acting as e undercover cop in infernal affairs, where u kept hearing these words, "wo shi jing cha". (Im a cop)... some of e scenes in lust, caution were censored (apparently some bondage scenes), which i thought was pretty crucial when e lead actress was putting her idea across to e mastermind of e whole assassination... it's like making a statement without quantifying ur ans...

overall... 8/10 for e artistic pov...
